Description
It has been years, too many to count since Earth was damaged by war and greed. Now, civilization survives underground in a bleak, regimented existence with the never-blinking lenses of the security cameras. The carefully hoarded medical supplies and other necessities are running out.
Eliza and Cage are two of many teens trained in military combat, each with a specific role to prepare for exploration of the restored Earth. Together with a dozen of their peers, armed only with their skills and a handful of aging automatic weapons, they wander through an unearthly paradise whose shining beauty dazzles them. But others on this land are prepared to defend their territory.
The dangers are not all on the surface. As the tiny party make their way across this strange landscape, there are disturbing concerns. Why is their every movement and communication watched and recorded? Why are they all orphaned? What is the true endgame of the mysterious Administration and its shadowy executives?
Eliza and Cage have a chance to survive on the new planet, to make it fit for humanity, if only they can set aside their mutual loathing.
