SALT LAKE CITY, UT October 30, 2013
The third and last in Paul Anthony Shortt’s Locked Within trilogy is now under contract with WiDo Publishing, expected release date late 2014.
Titled “Final Hope,” it will complete Nathan Shephard’s story, begun two years ago with Locked Within (WiDo Publishing, 2012), and continued in Silent Oath, just released in September, 2013 by WiDo.
Shortt does not disappoint, with his novels going deep into good versus evil, especially in the past lives of his characters.
WiDo submissions editor, Allie Maldonado, says about his trilogy, “Reincarnation plays into the theme and plot, and adds an extra element of depth to the Locked Within series of books. Also, the fact that Paul’s hero Nathan Shepherd is your basic ordinary good guy thrown into extreme circumstances, makes these novels very relatable.”
One reviewer had this to say, “Nathan Shepherd is literally your average Joe at the start of the book. Your average Joe with an unusual hobby that is. This book not only entertains but fascinates. From the go, I could not put that dang thing down. Author Paul Anthony Shortt does a marvelous job turning a normal person with a normal 9 to 5 job into a hero, a protagonist everyone can get behind. It is a fast paced roller coaster ride that leaves you hanging by the edge of your seat.” –Tipsy-Ink, Words that Paint a Picture
“Paul is an amazingly prolific writer,” states Allie Maldonado. “We at WiDo feel fortunate to have him with us, and we can’t wait to see what he comes up with next. Whether he stays with our company or goes elsewhere, I’m convinced that Paul Anthony Shortt will one day have a future as a full-time career writer.”
